Spirit Airlines offering GSA, Secret Service sales

Secret sale ad (Spirit)
Spirit Airlines has seized upon the ongoing GSA spending and Secret Service sex scandals as a marketing opportunity.
The Miramar, Fla.-based discount commercial airline is offering a "GSA Sale!" with "scandal-free fares starting from just $19.80 one way."
"You don't have to spend lavishly to travel in style," a note on Spirit's website reads. "Book now, even your interns can afford it!" The "GSA" stands for "Great Savings Always," according to the airline.

Spirit is concurrently running a "More Bang for Your Buck!" sale on $19.80 flights to Cartagena, Colombia, where several Secret Service agents allegedly spent a night in a lavish hotel with local escorts ahead of President Barack Obama's trip to the Summit of the Americas. ("Upfront payment is required," Spirit warns.)
The carrier—which offers more than 190 daily flights to over 45 destinations throughout the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean—is somewhat notorious for its envelope-pushing marketing copy.
In 2009, Spirit rolled out a $9 "MILF" sale (the acronym stood for "Many Islands Low Fares," according to Spirit). In 2010, Spirit referenced female genitalia ("Many Unbelievably Fantastic Fares") in a similar ad campaign.http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/spirit-airlines-offering-gsa-secret-sales-upfront-payment-194344303.html
